We’re looking for someone excited about creating tools that will get K-12 teachers, parents, and students engaging with data.

This position will be responsible for creating new functionalities and extending the existing functionality of web applications at Data Insight Partners.

The ideal candidate will be able to plan, code, and test new features on their own, as well as work within a team to accomplish the same goals. This position will also work collaboratively with the team to give and receive constructive feedback.

  • Experience creating new functionality in PHP within the Laravel framework
  • Understanding of MVC Design patterns
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Strong grasp of front-end programming and client-side concepts (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of database design and use of SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL)
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue, React)
  • Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Ability to write automated tests (e.g., PHPUnit)
  • Able to document new and existing code
  • Participate in code review and be able to review and test other’s work


At least 2+ of experience with Laravel
